Mike Weymouth has written the introduction to the 2009 Graphis Annual on annual reports, which features the best in annual report design from around the world. Why Mike? For many years, he has played an important role in setting annual report trends in both annual report design and photography and is one of the leading proponents of the resurgence of the printed annual report.

CYCLE Kids is an independent, non-profit youth program for urban children in low-income communities. Weymouth Design has been involved with CYCLE Kids since its founding in 2004. Aimed at children aged 8–12, CYCLE Kids is a bicycle skills and safety program that introduces kids to the joys of cycling, healthy eating and fitness, environmental awareness, and the world of physical science.

Last June, I spent 4 weeks in Hale County, Alabama with Project M, an intensive summer program designed to inspire designers to show that their work can have a positive and significant impact on society.
