Needham Bikes

Needham Bikes, an organization dedicated to the safe and widespread use of bicycles for transportation and recreation in Needham, Massachusetts, recently contacted Weymouth Design. The organization’s needs were twofold: a logo and a design for use on signs. Needham Bikes came to the right firm for the job. We’ve done pro bono work for Cycle Kids for five years, and we have many avid cyclists on our staff.

Pro bonafide: South Shore Art Center website design-off

Weymouth Design does pro-bono work for the South Shore Arts Center,  a non-profit organization that promotes and enriches arts and cultures around the coastal area south of Boston. To help get their new website up and running, and to have some fun, Weymouth Design held an internal design contest for all its designers, print and web, to develop design concepts.

Atlantic Symphony: Making Music Together

Mike and his daughter, Anna Nicholas, an outstanding photographer and Weymouth Designer currently on assignment as a mother, shot video and still photos at a performance of the Atlantic Symphony at Jordan Hall in Boston recently. Mike’s video and Anna’s photos will help create awareness for the Symphony at fund-raising events as support for non-profits dwindles in the recession.

Sending the Right Signals

CYCLE Kids is an independent, non-profit youth program for urban children in low-income communities. Weymouth Design has been involved with CYCLE Kids since its founding in 2004. Aimed at children aged 8–12, CYCLE Kids is a bicycle skills and safety program that introduces kids to the joys of cycling, healthy eating and fitness, environmental awareness, and the world of physical science.
